Tom & Stephanie Peterson

Tom and Stephanie have been ballooning since 1986 and have been attending the Huff 'n Puff since the early 1990's.  Tom earned his private pilot's certificate in 1996 while living in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and has been flying in the Omaha, Nebraska area since 2000.  After earning his commercial rating in 2005 Dreamtime Balloon Adventures began offering charter balloon flights and instruction in the Omaha area.

'Dreamtime', Tom and Stephanie's second balloon, is a 1998 Head AX8-88 (88,000 cubic foot) envelope over a Balloon Works 4.5 basket.  The name 'Dreamtime' was inspired by the Australian aboriginal creation myth.

Tom does much of his flying from Lake Zorinsky in southwest Omaha, preferring the easy access for his passengers and crew.

To support his ballooning habit, Tom works as a computer engineer for an Omaha-based insurance company, and the Petersons are also actively involved with the Nebraska Balloon Club.
